When you walk into the Texaco station at 616 West Riverside Drive you’re going to see some familiar faces. The brother and sister team, Joe Enz and April Enz, are the owners of A&J Gas & Snack. You’ll know Joe from his years in sales and delivery with Budweiser. You’ll know April from her years in banking. You may know them from school. Joe & April grew up here attending Parker Dam School and Parker High.  Joe may have coached your kids in Little League (2 years) or Pop Warner (13 years). Joe’s wife, Kris, worked for Rodney Rust for five years. Kris’ cousin Tom, has been in the window covering business for seven years and manager of the Big River Inn. So, as you can see, it is a family business.

They have created a super-fun atmosphere and really care about their customers. They pride themselves in maintaining a good selection and keeping popular items in stock since purchasing the store in May of 2009.

You will find great prices on their convenience store products that include: beer, wine, ice, maps, souvenirs, ice cream, slushies, fountain sodas, fresh coffee and firewood. They have a HUGE selection of canned and bottled drinks and snacks, not to mention gas pumps that work and the only drive through store in Parker!

Joe & April remain dedicating to the youth in the community. Ask them about free ice for kids’ sporting events.

Their regular hours are Sunday –Thursday 5 am-12:30 am and Friday & Saturday, 5 am-1:30 am. So stop by and see the “Texaco Gang” at A&J Snack & Gas. In addition to all of the above you will find a friendly, courteous staff and a clean store.  Or, give them a call at 928 669-9493.
