JT’s on the Keys has been owned and operated by the Svider family since 1999. Jodie (Svider) Vescio, the daughter of Gary and Etta Mae Svider, moved from Southern California to Parker with her family in 1989. They wanted to raise their three children in a small town. The oldest is now 18 and graduating from Parker High and the twins are now 15. Not long after, Jodie’s parents Gary and Etta Mae followed. Gary was a firefighter for 35 ½ years and Etta Mae worked for BlueCross/Blue Shield for more than 20 years. They have been married 47 years.  Gary has served on various boards in the county including Buckskin Sanitation, Buckskin Fire Board and Moovalya Keys Homeowners Board.  Etta Mae currently serves on the newly formed River Flames Auxiliary.

You’ll find a true warm and friendly family atmosphere at JT’s on the Keys. Located just 5 miles north of Parker, JT’s has just experienced a “make over” in the courtyard and all the rooms are sporting new paint. The courtyard has a custom-made water fountain made by Jodie’s husband, Stan. Grass and palm trees are the setting for the barbeque area.  The family is always doing something to improve the property and provide an excellent experience for their guests.

The rooms are nicely appointed and very clean. Five of the rooms are set in the courtyard area. The other four balcony rooms have a view of the canal off the keys. Just below is the dock to tie up your watercraft. All the rooms have a microwave and a refrigerator. Wireless internet is free. They also have a system called EZ check in that includes having your room ready with lights and air conditioning on. And talk about location! JT’s is centrally located on the Parker Strip near some very cool river businesses including restaurants and stores.
